Gingerbread flavored coffee finally back in stock! Enjoying while building.

When we build our Gingerbread Houses, most of us like to enjoy a cup of hot chocolate. A few members of our family like coffee instead, which is extra special this time of the year. For the holidays, Green Mountain ships their Gingerbread flavored coffee K-Cups. Yum!

We ordered ours early this year, over a month ago, and they finally showed up last week. Since they are showing available on all of our favorite K-Cup suppliers online, we assume all the back-orders have been filled.

One of the better prices we found was from Amazon, who shows three different suppliers.

Gingerbread flavored cream, which we have been adding to our coffee over the last month, is much sweeter than flavored coffee beans. The flavored beans add the taste that you can then sweeten as you like.

Etsy, the first place to look for Fun Gingerbread items!

We don’t have much in our Etsy store right now for our Gingerbread Fans… every time we start making fun things we end up sending as gifts. But, that doesn’t mean that there is many other fun items to be found on Etsy for the Gingerbread Fans amongst us. Here is a link to a search on the Etsy site, which results in over 12,000 items!! There are home made food items, fun hats, ornaments, houses, crafts, earrings, cups, towels, you name it!! We can spend days there… well, we do spend days there… so many creative people that enjoy Gingerbread!

Gingerbread Dog House for Your Dog

‘Tis the season to start making Gingerbread Houses and if you really want to try making something “different” then try making a gingerbread dog house in honor of your beloved dog!  I suppose if you search the internet you will find “dog freindly” ingredients to use if the gingerbread house you are making is for a dog to eat but, the ones we are showing you are intended for human consumption only. We actually found an article by the HoustonPress writing of an Annual Christmas Tail Gingerbread Dog House Competition and provided here are photos. Time for Seasonal Clif Iced Gingerbread bars!

It’s that time of the year when Clif comes out with their seasonal Sustained Energy bars. This year, they are bringing back our favorite Iced Gingerbread! They actually added a new Seasonal flavor this year, Peppermint Stick… which sounds good too! The other seasonal flavor, Spiced Pumpkin Pie, makes a return with the Iced Gingerbread.

Being seasonal means not all stores will carry them and those that do will only be for the next couple months. If you can’t find the Iced Gingerbread local to you, Clif sells on their Web site too. The 3 special flavors join the normal lineup of 16 year round Clif choices.
