2009 Holiday Cookie Exchange and Gingerbread Tablescape

Isn’t this tablescape darling? What a great idea to host a holiday “Gingerbread” themed cookie exchange! If you are crazy4 Gingerbread and Gingerbread related items like me, then this is a really great way to display all your Gingerbread themed holiday dishes, decorations, and goodies. A few years ago dinnerware manufacturer Fitz and Floyd introduced a collection called “Candy Land” and it is a sweet Gingerbread candy themed collection and is perfect form my holiday cookie exchange this year! Scented Gingerbread Man Ornaments – Kid Crafts!

Here’s a gingerbread man that won’t try to escape from your oven. This gingerbread man is a very simple, fun project for kids to make. It’s a great sensory experience too!

Things You’ll Need:

* Sandpaper
* Gingerbread man cookie cutter or stencil
* Ribbon
* Cinnamon sticks

Step 1: Using a gingerbread man cookie cutter or stencil, trace the gingerbread man shape onto a piece of sandpaper. (If you don’t have a cookie cutter or stencil, see the resource section of this article for a printable stencil).

Batman Themed Gingerbread Men Cookies
