PostHeaderIcon Goth Gingerbread Man in Coffin

As we begin to approach Fall and soon Halloween, its time to shift our thoughts to “spooky, creepy, and even scary” stuff so why not a neat and Goth style Gingerbread Man! Found this interesting creation on an Etsy shop – The Poisoned Apple. Etsy is a great place to shop online for unique handmade items as well as vintage collectibles and antiques. Another Etsy shop we like is Crazy4Me and they tend to have a nice selection of vintage items for the home and neat collectibles and of course Gingread items from time to time. Hope you are all enjoying the end your summers!

PostHeaderIcon Gingerbread Eiffel Tower

This one is so neat! The Eiffel Tower made out of Gingerbread Bread and decorated simply with only red and green icing or M&Ms. It would also be really fun to make the Eiffel Tower super shiny as if it were all lit up at night with millions of lights and this could easily be achieved once your base Eiffel Tower was created as you could decorate it with edible glitter, sanding sugar or edible silver beads or “dragees”.  Its up to you and you can get as creative as you like, maybe you are skilled enough to create one of the two restaurants in the tower- Altitude 95 or Jules Verne the Michelin Star restaurant! “j’aime Paris” I love Paris.

Was just watching the movie Sabrina from 1954 with Humphrey Bogart and Audrey Hepburn on iTunes… remember her life altering trip to Paris?

PostHeaderIcon Hard to Find Gingerbread Boy & Girl Sweatshirt

Gingerbread Sweatshirt

I am always searching for Gingerbread inspired clothing and it is nearly impossible to find any even during the Holidays. You either have to have something “custom made” or know a “handy dandy” crafter or someone with sewing skills to have something made. I tell all my friends and family to be on the look out for Gingerbread items during the year as that is always the most perfect gift for me!! Visit here for details on this fabulous Gingerbread sweartshirt. Sweatshirt comes in black or dark blue and there are also zipup hoodies in many colors. Love them!
