As we begin to approach Fall and soon Halloween, its time to shift our thoughts to “spooky, creepy, and even scary” stuff so why not a neat and Goth style Gingerbread Man! Found this interesting creation on an Etsy shop – The Poisoned Apple. Etsy is a great place to shop online for unique handmade items as well as vintage collectibles and antiques. Another Etsy shop we like is Crazy4Me and they tend to have a nice selection of vintage items for the home and neat collectibles and of course Gingread items from time to time. Louis Vuitton Gingerbread Purse Cakes

These are the ultimate for us fashionistas out there that want our designer Louis Vuitton bags and our Gingerbread, we can now have both as they are combined in this magnificent Gingerbread Louis Vuitton Smiling Cerises (cherry) cake! Made from Gingerbread cake and expertly decorated to resemble the beautiful smiling cherry bag from a couple seasons ago. The LOUIS VUITTON Monogram Cerises collection stemmed from the partnership between Louis Vuitton and Takashi Murakami, the leader of Japanese Contemporary Art. Takashi Murakami also designed the Monogram Multicolore collection and the Cherry Blossom collections (pattern is of cake that is the round tiered  one) for Louis Vuitton. Gingerbread cakes are also decorated into the many other Louis Vuitton patterns!

I am always searching for Gingerbread inspired clothing and it is nearly impossible to find any even during the Holidays. You either have to have something “custom made” or know a “handy dandy” crafter or someone with sewing skills to have something made. I tell all my friends and family to be on the look out for Gingerbread items during the year as that is always the most perfect gift for me!!
